Congratulations Christa Gornjak! Christa is the winner of the 2011 "What You Hear" or "Your Best Wipeout" contest. Her entry reflects on something I think most skiers can relate to...turning into a human snowball and leaving a snow crater for all to admire. Here is Christas' entry:
Excited for the first ski of the winter and I am heading down a long hill, picking up speed, a low branch is hanging over the trail so I take it in the shoulder and it feels like ice balls. I am knocked off track, my skis start spreading and I superwoman it right in the middle of the trail. I get up, brush the snow off, and look back...nice body print for the skaters to laugh at!! Love it!

Trail Reporters Needed For Zillmer & Greenbush Trail Systems
Volunteer trail reporters are needed for both Zillmer and Greenbush trail systems. Help other skiers by providing Zillmer ski trail condition reports and Greenbush ski tail condition reports. IT'S EASY! Find out how to get started.
For the 2010-2011 ski season I'm attempting to expand the group of like minded XC skiers willing to post short trail condition reports for Zillmer trails and Greenbush trails via Twitter. Reports may be sent from a cell phone or from any computer. Everyone’s reports will be available on the Zillmer trails and Greenbush trails pages at this site. Find out more here.
As time permits I 'll be adding these additional features to help keep you informed:
- Daily email updates from www.greenbushtrails.com. Receive an email once a day from greenbushtrails.com when a ski trail report contains a rating of very good(4), Excellent(5) or "Just Groomed".
- Receive a Twitter tweet (text message) once a day on your mobile phone from " greenbushtrails " or " zillmertrails " when a ski trail report contains a rating of very good(4), Excellent(5) or "Just Groomed".
