Pink Trail
This section of the pink is curvy tree lined and fast. It can be somewhat dangerous on those fast days. This may be a short trail but it can be quite challenging and fun.
Cut-Off Red Green Purple
The green to purple section is a steep downhill with a 90 degree turn at the bottom This can be used as a shortcut back to the lower lot or better yet, a short way back to the start of Howl Hill.
Cut-Off to Purple
This is the start of the hilly section of the green trail,. If your feeling tired here, I would recommend taking the purple trail back.
Purple Turnaround Downhill Run
This is the start of a curving downhill run. If the conditions are optimal you can easily hit 20mph on this hill.
Cut-Off Connects Red, Purple & Green Trails
I use this cut-off when the green/purple trail becomes dirty in the pine tree areas or if I want a little shorter rout.
Sledding and Snow boarding Hill
This is a long gentle hill for the kids to sled on while you are skiing. There is a heated shelter near the bottom of the hill if they get cold.
Upper Parking Lot
There are men's and lady's bathrooms just off the trail. This is a good lot to park in if you don't like to climb the first set of hills until you're warmed up.
Heated Shelter
Located next to the lower parking lot, this is a good place to warm up on those below zero days.
Cut-Off to Howl Hill
This section is recommended for advanced skiers only. There is an extremely steep section with a moderate turn at the bottom. You can easily exceed 30mph on a fast day.
Decision? Green or Purple?
If choosing the green this is the start of a nice long down hill run. If choosing the purple you'll have a relatively flat stretch through the woods.
