How To Enter The "What You Hear" or "Your Best Wipeout" Contest

Stop on your favorite part of Zillmer or Greenbush trails. Catch your breath and listen to the sounds around you for several minutes. In your own words write a short essay on "What You Hear". Alternatively you may write about your best cross country ski wipeout at Zillmer or Greenbush trails. The essay must be 400 characters (not words) or less. By submitting an essay you agree to all rules, terms, and conditions included on this web page. After reading and understanding all the rules, terms, and conditions submit your short essay using the Feedback form on this site. Be sure to select "Essay" as the Subject in the dropdown list on the feedback form. Good Luck!
The “What You Hear” or “Your Best Wipeout” essay contest is open to all Zillmer trails and Greenbush trails cross country skiers. Family members of the registered owner(s) of greenbushtrails.com are not eligible. One essay allowed per contestant. Contest starts December 15th 2010. Contest ends February 15th 2011 at 12:00am central standard time. All essays must be submitted via the Feedback form on this site on or before February 15th 2011. The Feedback form must be completed in its entirety. A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of essay submission. The confirmation email is notice the essay was accepted. All essays will be judged on uniqueness, creativity, and originality. All essays become the property of the registered owner(s) of greenbushtrals.com and may or may not be used for promotional purposes. The winning essay will be posted on this site within 4 weeks of the contest end date. Any or all additional essays may also be posted on this site or used for promotional purposes.
Odds of winning are based on the total number of valid essays received. One $20 gas card will be awarded to the winning contestant. If the winning contestant fails to claim the gas card, an alternate will be chosen from all valid essay submissions. Any and all taxes and or fees are the responsibility of the wining contestant. In the event a winning contestant can not be determined from all available essays no gas card will be awarded and the contest will be run the following ski season.
Submission of an essay via the Feedback form within this site is certification the submitted essay was composed and is the original material of the person's name included with the Feedback form submission. The name, phone number, and email included with the essay submission are used to identify the composer of the essay. Plagiaristic or fraudulent essay submission(s) is/are not allowed. A contestant submitting a Plagiaristic and or fraudulent essay accepts all incidental and or consequential damages, legal responsibilities, and or costs associated with the plagiaristic and or fraudulent essay submission(s).
